I’ve always been a huge fan of snacks, especially during the summer. I find that on hot days I’m barely hungry, and end up sort of snacking. Now this would be a bad thing if I was snacking on chips or cookies, but I try my best to eat healthy snacks. Luckily for me there are tons of healthy snacks all over the internet and a lot of of my favourites are right here on SPC! I find that while I’m always on the hunt for what I call “healthy snacks”, there are always so many things right in front of me. You can’t go wrong with some dip and fresh veggies, or even a whole grain baked good that you made that afternoon. Kids love snacks too, I remember when I was a nanny for a sweet 3 year old boy one summer, he lived off of snacks, crackers and cheese were his go-to for just about every meal.
You can’t go wrong with a Whole Grain Blueberry Muffin.
Greek yogurt is packed with protein which can be used in this Yogurt Granola Parfait, protein is great for staying full between meals.
